Solution competences for different lines of business (automotive, civil engineering, automation, production industry of high-value miniature components, building and construction safety, monitoring etc)
Robust, ergonomic sensors and sensing systems for extreme applications, high/low temperatures, magnetically loaded environments, large distances, narrow mounting spaces etc. The systems generate no sparks and are therefore also usable in explosive environments
Simple integration, simple management of even extensive amounts of test points by PHOSYLAB´s software. PHOSYLAB´s technique supports you to evaluate different measuring parameters. This makes evaluation much simpler, especially if the number of test points increases.

Freely scalable networks, the detection units can multiplex 20 to 50 sensors; sensors may be removed or added without hardware changes. Additional boards are simply added for more than 50 sensors and supervised by the same processor (PC or microcontroller).

Robust and Ergonomic Technology
PHOSYLAB´s sensors are able to withstand harsh environmental conditions and provide faultless measuring results. The resilience of PHOSYLAB´s sensors is achieved amongst other things by utilizing proven components from optoelectronics and multimode fibres in measuring heads. The core factor in achieving stability and reliability is the transducer, which is placed as a sheath around the fibre. The transducer is the medium in which the mode coupling takes place.

PHOSYLAB´s transducers can therefore be adapted to almost any specification. Unlike fibre Bragg gratings, PHOSYLAB´s fibres are not weakened by removing the cladding, laser technical machining the fibre and recladding. The transducers act as sheath and technique carrier and in fact provides additional stability. Ergonomics is just as relevant as durability. In areas and assemblies where space is critical, PHOSYLAB´s sensors present themselves from their best, the “slim” side.

Mini-sensors
The transducer lengths range typically from several millimetres to a few centimetres depending on the actual specifications they have to achieve. Diameters range from a few tenths of a millimetre to a few millimetres.

Low-profile sensors
The mini-transducers are integrated in transduction mechanisms to meet the specifications of the target applications. These mechanisms are developed using the techniques of precision mechanics, resulting in low-profile sensors.
